What is Drive in Pallet Rack

Drive-in pallet rack is a type of storage system designed to maximize space utilization in warehouses, especially commonly used for the storage of high-volume low SKU items. It consists of upright frames with horizontal rails that create channels deep enough for a forklift to enter. Pallets are then loaded onto the rails, one behind the other, creating a high-density storage solution.

High storage capacity: By eliminating the need for wide aisles between racks, drive-in systems can significantly increase storage capacity compared to traditional pallet racking.

Space optimization: It can utilize over 80% of the available space in a warehouse.

Suitable for specific goods: Works best for storing large quantities of similar or identical items (homogeneous goods) with low stock rotation. Ideal for seasonal goods or cold storage applications.

Last-In, First-Out (LIFO) principle: Pallets are loaded and unloaded from the same side of the rack, following a LIFO principle where the last pallet loaded is the first one retrieved.

A: 1) Payment terms: T/T 30% deposit after order confirmed, 70% balance paid against bill of lading. L/C O/A also available.

A: Commonly used packages are corrugated paper, carton boxes, crosstie, pallets, angle steel, plastic film, steel tie, and airbag, plastic strips, ect. Customized packages are supported depending on customers' request.

Q: Do you have MOQ requirement?

A: No, but good quantity comes with good price. We recommend the order quantity for regular products of Vison to fit at least one 20ft. container, which is about 15 tons.

Q: How does Vison charge tooling fee (cost of opening new mold)?

A: For the production of necessary tooling requirement, Vison charges the cost before the first order for opening new mold, and the cost will be partially or fully refunded after certain quantity of orders.
